OGRE2 G.E.V
Design by Winchell Chung; Martian Metals sculpture by Randy Hoffa. This was a three-part sculpture: skirt, chassis, and the "H-blower" jet engines. Finely crafted work, far ahead of its time, as were the other two in the series.
Part of the first wave release in 1979. There were only four units: the Ogre Mark V and three armor units. They won the H.G. Wells Award for Best Vehicular Series of 1979 (presented at Origins in 1980.
